I had great hopes but he turned out to be just another flybynight. HEAD & BODY: Armature, wound with fabric strips and Sulky brand threads. EYES: Painted plastic balls. EARS: Black velour. HAIR: Sulky brand threads. WINGS: Wires wrapped with Sulky threads, painted with sheer gloss. HEIGHT: 26” to leaf tip. COSTUME: Black knit socks. BASE: Wooden tray filled with polymer clay rocks, gravel and clear resin. Leaves are hand-painted silk and wired. |
