Puss in Cowboy Boots was inspired by the cutest little bitty pair of cowboy boots I found in a flea market in Cut and Shoot, Texas. They just cried out for this guy to wear them. |
Welcome to DollWorx, my house of dolls. I believe the primary function of art is to illuminate the human condition. I further believe that one of a kind art dolls can provide a very personal and accessible expression of that condition. There is nothing to "understand", nothing to intimidate. Like people, dolls just are. And, like people, my dolls are individuals, original and one of a kind. Please look through the galleries. One of my dolls may speak to you. If "art doll" doesn't work for you, please call them mixed media sculptures. I often do.
